The successful applicant should be a self-motivated and pro-active individual with good communication skills and with the ability to interface with a variety of customers and partners.Īcademic and company supervision are provided to support the Associate in their role and the Associate will work closely with the academic team, company staff and external stakeholders during their contract. ![]() Experience of training/lecturing will also be extremely useful as there will be opportunities to present their work at international conferences and exhibitions. The successful applicant will work towards developing a high skill level in the operation of laser scanning hardware and software, with the chance to work with the latest technology. Considerable project work will be undertaken worldwide with leading mining companies. The KTP Associate will work with 3D Laser Mapping Ltd and Durham University staff to implement a slope monitoring system through strain-rate based failure modelling from high-resolution 3D time-series data.
